About us
We're an Oxfordshire-based timber frame company, specialising in traditional handcrafted oak frames, creating beautiful structures for homes and gardens.

From our base in Steventon, our team combines a range of skill sets acquired from fields such as furniture making and boat building, working on the internationally-acclaimed Shakespeare's Globe and we can also boast of a one-time holder of National Apprentice of the Year.

Our projects have taken us to the surroundings of Oxfordshire; the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Warwickshire and as far afield as Kent and Scotland but we welcome enquiries from all areas of the UK.
Our process
Our "three flagged" carpenter's mark logo is a nod towards the centuries-old tradition of timber frame carpentry.

Our framing techniques are very much the same as those of the medieval carpenters who have left us with our fine timber framed building heritage. The reference lines and carpenter's marks we use can be found on timbers from medieval buildings throughout Britain and Europe. The marks identify the position of each timber within the building and are an eye-catching feature. We'd be happy to talk you through the fascinating techniques we use to manufacture our frames.
